NORMAN — Thirty-seven and counting. That's how many consecutive games Oklahoma's football program has sold out at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, dating back to the 1999 season. Sooner fans will have a chance keep that string alive by purchasing the few remaining tickets for games this fall, thanks to returns from visiting teams. The sale of single game tickets for 2005 OU football games begins Monday, Aug. 1.
Internet sales (SoonerSports.com) and phone sales (800-456-GOOU or 405-325-2424) begin at 8 a.m. Sales to walk-up patrons at the ticket office located in the Asp Avenue Parking Facility start at 10 a.m. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to the general public and there is a limit of 10 tickets per purchase.
Tickets in pairs are available for games against TCU, Tulsa and Baylor. Single tickets (no two together) are available for games against Kansas State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.
Tickets for games against TCU and Tulsa are $52 each. Tickets for the Kansas State, Texas A&M and Baylor games are $62 each, and tickets for the Oklahoma State game are $72 each. A $10 processing fee is added to
each order. All individuals, including infants and children, entering the stadium will need a ticket.
